February 27, 2009
Released 19th February 2009
To celebrate the release of the forthcoming subway horror film, Midnight Meat Train, starring Vinnie Jones and directed by Clive Barker on the 19th February; we have joined forces with Lionsgate Home Entertainment and are giving three lucky winners the chance to win a copy of the DVD!
The film is based on Clive Barker’s ‘Books of Blood’ series of short stories, and stars Vinnie Jones, Brooke Shields and Bradley Cooper.
When his latest body of work – provocative, night time studies of the city and its inhabitants – earns struggling photographer Leon Kaufman (Bradley Cooper) interest from a prominent art gallerist (Brooke Shields), she propels him to get grittier and show the darker side of humanity for his upcoming debut at her downtown art space.
Believing he’s finally on track for success, Leon’s obsessive pursuit of dark subject matter leads him into the path of a serial killer, Mahogany (Vinnie Jones), the subway murderer who stalks late-night commuters – ultimately butchering them in the most gruesome ways imaginable.
With his concerned girlfriend Maya (Leslie Bibb) fearing for her life, Leon’s relentless fascination with Mahogany lures him further and further into the bowels of the subways and ultimately into an abyss of pure evil – inadvertently pulling Maya right along with him.
This visually stunning horror will leave you never wanting to take a train ride again – especially as this is the fully loaded EXTREME EDITION, available on DVD and BluRay, packed full of new scenes far too terrifying for the cinema release. Dare you take a ride to hell and back with Vinnie Jones?

CADBURY CREATES ‘HOT CHOC CHUNKS’ TO MELT IN YOUR MUG
February 25, 2009
Cadbury Dairy Milk unveils a yummy invention which heralds a new dawn for hot chocolate lovers: Hot Choc Chunks. The chunks of real chocolate melt into milk to make a smooth delicious creamy treat as an alternative to traditional powder.
When asked to put the fun back into making hot chocolate, the experts at Cadbury Dairy Milk came up with the inventive recipe for those looking to have some fun while indulging their taste buds. The combination of stirring a real chocolate chunk into hot milk is the perfect complement to a relaxing moment. Just remember the chunk is for drinking, not eating!
The first of its kind for Cadbury, Hot Choc Chunk was two years in the making. A total of 20 experts were involved in the developmental process. When asked to come up with a scrumptious drink, the experts usually tasked with creating yummy new Cadbury chocolate bars immediately thought that melting a whole Cadbury Dairy Milk Hot Choc Chunk would make the ultimate hot chocolate. Seven different sized chunks were tried and tested until they reached chocolate heaven in a mug for people to wrap their hands and hearts around.
Combining the irresistible flavour of Cadbury Dairy Milk with a fun and novel preparation method was a crucial part of the development – drawing on the knowledge and expertise which comes with 103 years of chocolate making experience.
Dave Fackrell, Chocolate Innovator for Cadbury Dairy Milk said “Everyone loves the smooth, creamy texture of Cadbury Dairy Milk so we’re sure our latest invention will go down a treat! We just hope people will be patient and won’t gobble the chunk up while they wait for it to melt…!”
Cadbury Dairy Milk Hot Choc Chunks (£2.79 RRP 250g) will be on shelves from the beginning of February 2009.
What Girlie Gossip Thought…
These fab Cadbury Dairy Milk Hot Choc Chunks are great for kids, and big kids like ourselves! Vicky Christina Barcelona Movie Review
February 25, 2009
“What is love? Baby don’t hurt me, don’t hurt me no more.” Wise words, from dance one-hit-wonder Haddaway, no less. But maybe he was on to something. Woody Allen seems to think so, as in his recent arthouse flick no love story is without its fair share of pain and suffering. Read more
