Beat the Autumn Blues with a Gallo Film Club Evening

As the darker evenings descend it can be hard to keep upbeat, however there is a way to beat the autumn blues with a good movie and a glass of great wine. Gallo Family Vineyards has teamed up with Universal Pictures (UK) to create Gallo Film Club, the perfect choice for those looking to escape the autumn blues.

According to psychology experts, “the most successful happiness boosters can be the relationships we have with other people”*, so as the days get shorter and the temperature falls, keep spirits up by hosting a film night whist enjoying a glass of your favourite Gallo wine.

Gallo Film Club, which matches the perfect wine with great films, is encouraging members to organise ‘feel good’ movie nights, the perfect excuse to bring together friends and family and enjoy a slice of the big screen at home. Whether it’s British favourite, Billy Elliot with a chilled glass of Gallo Moscato or heartwarming classic, About a Boy with Gallo Cabernet Sauvignon, the Gallo Film Club has the perfect combination.

Gallo Family Vineyards is launching a neck-collar promotion in retailers to drive volume sales and build awareness of the Gallo Film Club. Run in partnership with Universal Pictures and due on shelf in September, the promotion will see all bottles of Gallo Family Vineyards Merlot Rosé and White Grenache sporting a neck collar. This will offer consumers the chance to win a host of film themed prizes including, 1 of 10 Gallo Film Club Night Events.

10 lucky winners will receive an exclusive VIP film night in their own home including everything from the red carpet to the movie; popcorn to the wine. Runners-up prizes will include DVD’s and box sets from Universal Pictures, as well as tickets to Universal film premieres.

Consumers can enter the giveaway via the Gallo Film Club promotional website or Facebook

They will then be asked to register their details to be in with a chance of winning one of the prizes. The promotion will feature on-shelf until the end of the year or while stocks last.
