Butter London has become a quality, must have name in Nail Polish. With a versatile range of nail lacquer colours to choose from they are taking the beauty world by storm. Naturally, we just had to investigate! So, gather round ladies as we take an in depth look at the fabulous ‘Aston’ shade.
First off let me start by telling you a bit about the Butter London ‘3 Free’ range that the Aston shade falls under. Basically it means that these Butter London products contain no Formaldehyde, No toluene, and No DBP (Phthales) which is perfect for those of us who want to keep our beauty products free of chemical nasties.
The Butter London Aston shade has become a bit of a hit for me since trying it out a few days ago. I was a bit sceptical that it looked a little bit pinky in the pot but once on my nails it turned out to be a gorgeous toffee colour with just a hint of subtle shimmer. It is just perfect for winter!
It is easy to apply and although the bottle is a little on the chunky size (which personally I adore) it doesn’t affect application. Mine looked perfect after just two coats and lasts well with minimal chipping a few days later.
Highly recommended as one of this seasons must have nail polishes!
As with all Butter London nail polish the Scoundrel shade we tried next was easy to apply and long lasting. It doesn’t have a shimmer to it like some of the others we’ve tried recently but it has a shiny, almost candy like texture which can be accentuated by adding a good clear top coat. This will also help prevent chipping. A great way to brighten up winter nails!
