The Neckerchew is the latest innovation in baby and toddler teething products. Launching today (1 February 2013), the Neckerchew’s unique design is a world first, combining the popular dribble bib concept with an attached chewy teether to sooth painful young gums.
Fashionable yet practical, the Neckerchew is soft and comforting for young tots, while offering the perfect solution for busy parents. Thanks to the innovative attached chewy teether, the days of constantly retrieving and re-sanitising dropped teethers from cafe floors or the back seat of cars will be banished forever.
Available in nine different colourful designs, the Neckerchew adds a stylish touch to any baby and toddler outfit. Fully reversible, it is made from super-soft jersey cotton that is delicate on young skin but highly absorbent, making it suitable for all day wear. A special absorbent middle layer locks dribble and moisture away from small chests and reduces irritation.
The textured triangle-shaped teether at the base of the Neckerchew, gives great ‘bite’, using an innovative, dimpled design to massage and sooth tender gums and encourage new teeth to break through. Soft and pliable, the Neckerchew teether contains no phthalates, will never flake or peel is 100% safe for babies to chew on.
The Neckerchew is the brainchild of two Edinburgh mumtpreneurs, Julie Wilson and Amy Livingstone. While on maternity leave with their first children, they spotted a gap in the market for an attached teething product and their initial idea for the Neckerchew was born. Nine months on and with patent pending, their company Cheeky Chompers has officially launched and initial feedback on the Neckerchew has been overwhelmingly positive. Secured with a double popper fastener, the Neckerchew is fully adjustable and suitable for babies and toddlers. The Neckerchew is machine washable at 40 degrees.
The full range of nine Neckerchew designs is from 1 February, initially available to purchase direct from the website www.CheekyChompers.com from £9.99 each.
