Designer Womens Clothes: Trends for Summer 2010!

Summer is poking a head tentatively round the clouds right now and if you’re not already refreshing your wardrobe it’s time to move sharpish before the fashionistas pick the clothes racks clean and you’re left to rummage through the sale items.

Designer clothes are available from huge numbers of online retailers these days, so even if you hate shopping there’s really no excuse to miss out on the summer’s trends!

Firstly, the 80s revival is still with us and shows no sign of abating. T-shirt dresses and tunics with awesome 80s inspired, Sloane-y designs that Keeley Hawes is currently wearing as she gads about our screens in Ashes to Ashes. Teamed up with big, retro earrings and chunky bangles and you have the perfect practical 80s look.

Of course, if your tastes don’t really run to that particular decade, you could look for something more urban and modern. Brands like Henleys continue to inspire with their cool, casual fashions.

Of course, as summer kicks in, you’ll also have to consider the inevitable party season (got your wedding invites yet).

French connection dresses are particularly stunning this year – ranging from classic, clean-lined fuller length formal numbers to floaty and fringey dresses that would look good at any garden party or barbeque.

Shoewise, you’re not going to wrong with sandals. Let the air circulate round your toes and throw off the tights (maybe stopping by the tanning salon for a quick 2 minutes if your pins have been undercover since November!)
