Winter pop-up bar the North Pole bar has launched for it’s 4th year in city centre Manchester’s Cathedral Gardens attended by 1000 of Manchester’s VIPs and the stars of Coronation Street, Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks. In attendance were Debbie Rush (Coronation Street) and family, Mikey North (Coronation Street), Ellis Hollins (Hollyoaks) with his mum Jacqui and friends, Ben Ryan Davies (Waterloo Road) with his parents, Jack P Shepherd (Coronation Street) and his new fiance Lauren Shippey, Katherine Kelly (Coronation Street), XFactor star Lloyd Daniels, Manchester band the Courteeners and many many more.
A cosy and luxurious winter haven for families and shoppers in the daytime and party-goers at night. It is situated in Manchester’s Cathedral Gardens (by Urbis) and will be there until Christmas. The North Pole bar is a 500 square metre venue split into three rooms: a cosy new Chesterfield filled winter lodge, a contemporary ski chalet and the Rudolf Room, a decadent red velvet draped area for Christmas parties and winter film screenings.
Guests to the North Pole bar can enjoy warming hot cocktails, the full Illy Coffee range plus a festive hog roast and sausage grill to keep out the cold.
The Polar Bar, Liverpool
The Polar Bar, Liverpool’s very first pop-up winter bar can be found at Liverpool One, Chavasse Park, from now until January 10th. The launch was attended by Hollyoaks’ Karen Hassan, T4/Hollyoaks Matt Littler with girlfriend Jayne Mahon and Coronation Street’s Andrew Lancel. The bar is an impressive stylish wonderland with warming cocktails and festive food galore providing a cosy and luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle of the city centre for families in the daytime and party-goers at night.The 500 metre square bar boasts a luxurious snug, cosily furnished with Chesterfield sofas and vintage rugs for relaxing après work or shopping, plus separate seating and standing areas ensuring there’s room for all to come in out of the cold. Not losing its intimate feel, the bar splits into two with a larger area that can be opened at busy times or booked separately for Christmas parties. At capacity the venue can hold almost 1000 people. Guests to the Polar Bar can enjoy warming hot cocktails, the full Illy Coffee range plus winter warmers of pie and mash and scouse from Pickled Walnut.
