Follow the yellow brick road over the rainbow and into The London Palladium for a special Comic Relief gala performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production, The Wizard of Oz. Starring Michael Crawford as The Wizard and Danielle Hope (winner of the BBC’s smash hit Over the Rainbow) as Dorothy.
This extra special night will be the only performance of the popular stage show to feature the dog ‘Dangerous Dave’ – BBC’s Over the Rainbow’s winning Toto!
The curtain is set to rise on this one time only event at 7.30pm on Thursday 21st April and all profits from the sale of this performance will go directly to Comic Relief.
Developed from the ever popular MGM screenplay this production, totally reconceived for the stage, contains all the much-loved songs from the Oscar winning movie score, all the favourite characters and iconic moments, plus a few surprises along the way, including new songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
