Peacocks, the UK’s hottest value has increased orders for the third time on its £40 military coat, as chiconomists fight for this season’s catwalk look on a budget.
Peacocks’ £40 dipped hem military coat sold out in its first week of hitting Peacocks’ 550 stores and online, and Peacocks’ £15 shrunken military jacket had to be repeated three times after it sold out after its first week, causing coat sales to soar by 75 per cent on the year (2010 compared to 2009).
To satiate customer demand, Peacocks has extended its range of military fashion coats to include two additional styles which will land in stores and online at the beginning of November, available from £30.
Military is the key trend this season, as seen on the autumn/winter 2010 catwalks of designers including Balmain, and style leaders including Cheryl Cole and Kate Moss.
Jane Hotz, Peacocks’ Womenswear Buying Director said: “Our buying and design team work closely to the catwalk trends to ensure we offer customers the latest fashion at great value. Our military coat is perfect for women in search of a statement winter coat that’s affordable, quality and on trend.”
I’m loving Peacocks fashion at the moment, they have a great range of items in a good stock of sizes and this coat is especially stunning! Perfectly on trend and a real winter must have in our humble opinion!
