Simple Tricks for Better Hair, Skin and Teeth

There are three things on your body that stand out more than anything else. Your skin, seeing as it’s everywhere! Your hair, as it’s one of the first things people notice. And finally, your teeth. After all, as soon as you open your mouth they’re in plain view. And your eyes, but we’ve already got that covered. Making sure these three things are in tip top condition will not only make you look better, but you’ll feel better too. Here are some simple tricks for better hair, skin and teeth.

Eating Right

We’re going to kick off with a fairly obvious one. The more good stuff you put in your body, you more your body will look good. It’s quite simple! However, do you know what foods could be affecting your skin, hair and teeth? Sugar is a big no-go. It’s a huge cause of acne and oily skin. It can also wear down the enamel on your teeth. Even the sugar in fruit can cause you to get cavities. For your hair, it’s all about the right nutrients. Eat plenty of veggies and protein for strong, glossy locks. Make sure you’re eating a healthy and balanced diet for the best results. Also, don’t eat anything right after brushing. Save that for before you’ve cleaned those gnashers.

Drinking Right

Another one which may seem fairly obvious to some, but not for others. Getting plenty of water throughout the day will stop your skin from getting dehydrated. If you’ve ever had dry or flaky skin then it probably means you weren’t drinking enough water. Drinks packed full of sugar can also cause breakouts. Not to mention ruin your teeth. If you want glossy looking hair then you need to cut out the juices and fizzy drinks. Coffee and red wine are also big problems for your teeth. Keep those pearly whites fresh, by avoiding drinks that can stain.

Quitting Smoking

If you’re a smoker then you’re affecting practically every part of your body. Most of us know that smoking can cause severe damage to your lungs and heart. But, what about everything else? It can cause your teeth to go yellow, your skin to sag, and your hair to become brittle. Try giving e-cigarettes a go instead. There’s an e-liquid out there in practically every flavour. This means you won’t smell like an ashtray too. Never a good look! Be kind to your body, and your body will be kind to you.

Exercising

Here’s a weird one! We all know that exercising is great for losing weight and staying fit, but that’s not all. Regular outdoor exercise can be great for your hair, skin and teeth. Again, it’s all about looking after your body. Your skin will appear more youthful and glowing. Your hair and teeth will feel the after-effects too. When you exercise you genuinely want to care for yourself better. That means you’ll be more likely to follow the advice above.

The general rule of thumb is to take care of yourself. Even the smallest of lifestyle changes can make a big difference to how your hair, skin and teeth look. Which can then make a big difference to how you feel. Much more confident and beautiful!
