Tie Rack, the global retailer of leading men’s and women’s fashion accessories, has stepped up their game with their latest autumn/winter collection. You are guaranteed to be surprised with the change in direction from the iconic brand, no longer simply on a path pointing to ties and pashminas, brand director Raffaele Caroli has used his fashion know how to steer Tie Rack on a journey that’s about to bring high class fashion to the high street.
For the first part of AW10, designers are focusing on the retro prim and proper look, where women always finish an outfit with gloves and a formal handbag. With the help of Raffaele, Tie Rack have taken it back to the 50s with their delicately cut feminine gloves in catwalk inspired colours and new season neutrals. Complete the look with one of Tie Rack’s new formal ladylike bags to add some prim and proper polish to the latest on-trend autumn look.
Sitting pretty alongside formal looks are concise colour pallets of rich earthy browns, chestnut tans and creamy neutrals. Tie Rack embraces the 70’s love story look when it comes to accessories with creamy patent totes and silky soft scarves.
The journey continues with ladies bags, from slouchy hobos in air force blue to oversized totes in rich neutrals, taking influence from all things textured, bedazzled Jewells and harmonious hardware.
Tie Rack embraces a new alpine winter look for the later part of the autumn winter fashion season, with oversized cosy knit scarves in warm hues of grey and traditional winter knits. Continuing the knitted theme through to high end knitted ladies bags in military greens, offset with corsage detailing alongside statement knitted hats, Tie Rack have incorporated just about every autumn winter accessory trend this season into their latest collection.
No outfit would be complete without a splash of jewellery and this season Tie Rack has gone all out in the Jewellery stakes. Flora and fauna is a trend that seems to be captured throughout the range, with layered effects of petals, leaves and butterflies, combined with tarnished metal and ornate detailing. Chains are of varying weights and links, with mixed materials and key colours of gold, gunmetal and silver.[nggallery id=34]
The famous pashminias and scarves produced by Tie Rack still feature heavily in the autumn winter collection and never fail to disappoint. Design focus has been placed on softer more girly, romantic scarves that are touchable for the first part of the season, following with thick and chunky scarves in longer lengths.
When it comes to the men’s autumn winter fashion collection, Tie Rack has thoroughly underpinned their style by traditionalism with emphasis on solid design, core colours and classic materials. Gloves emerge in mixed materials from timeless leather to classic knit in shades or warm greys and blacks.
Bags are full of formal tailoring from check patterned holdalls to pinstripe messengers. The emphasis on the fashion element of the man-bag is at the forefront of design for Tie Rack. Not to be left out structured leather bags feature heavily in the men’s collection.
The story of headwear is one with many angles this season, Tie Rack have taken inspiration from heritage cuts and traditional styles to create flatcaps, bakerboy and trilby hats that are on a level playing field with designer classics. Increasing acceptance of sportswear as a fashion trend has meant that Tie Rack have introduced a pinstripe, tailored baseball cap with a leather trim to their collection, alongside scrumptious winter woollens.
Tie Rack haven’t lost sight of their bread and butter market and have incorporated design conscious men’s ties into their autumn winter fashion collection. From monochrome prints to sophisticated block stripes with splashes of colour, there is defiantly a reason Tie Rack are first choice when it comes to men’s ties.
