To celebrate the launch of SingStar™: Ultimate Party for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3, Union J delivered the ultimate surprise to fans at Westfield Stratford City over the weekend.
Unsuspecting shoppers got more than they bargained for when they tried out the brand new game at the pop-up SingStar: Ultimate Party Stage, as boy band favourites Union J dropped in unannounced to join them on stage. The band delighted the crowd of stunned fans with an impromptu sing-a-long to hit tracks featured on the new disc, including Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe and Olly Murs’ Dear Darlin’.
Millie Butler, 14 from Sidcup was there and said “I couldn’t believe it when Union J walked on to the SingStar stage, it was such an amazing surprise and definitely a moment I will never forget!”
George Shelley from Union J said “We’re all huge SingStar fans and couldn’t wait to try out the new SingStar: Ultimate Party game on PS4. The fact that we got to sing alongside our fans was a massive bonus and we had so much fun meeting everyone!”
