    Our latest favourite this winter is Jambalaya – really really spicy, so very warming. All cooked in one pot, so there’s not much washing up, and although it’s really low fat and healthy, the rice in it makes you feel like you’re eating comfort food!

    I love a traditional steak and ale pie, or just a hearty beef stew. Chicken casserole is also lovely in the cold weather!
